Produced by Erol Alkan, Fantasy Black Channel is an album full of undeniable highlights and features previous UK singles 'Space And The Woods', 'Focker', 'The Bears Are Coming' and 'Bathroom Gurgle' as well as the future-classic 'Heartbeat'.
Recorded at Late Of The Pier's Nottingham home studio and London's Miloko Studios, Fantasy Black Channel is a massively daring album in terms of scope and ambition. It segues between musical styles with fleet footed fluidity, constantly experimental and boundary-pushing yet focused and - at its core -unashamedly pop.

"With the release of Fucked Up Friends on the immediate horizon, an unlikely supporter has swooped in to offer help for beat-pysch sideshow Tobacco. Indeed, the star of the Truth anti-smoking ads, Derrick Beckles, has apparently gone pro-Tobacco. Surprising or not (if you've caught his work at Street Boners and TV Carnage, probably not), Beckles has created an absurdly hillarious multi-part video series in support of Tobacco and the forthcoming Fucked Up Friends, due October 14th via Anticon. Check out the first clip in the series below, premiered over on Beckles’ site this morning, and keep an eye out for more to follow over the coming weeks."
"For the uninitiated, Fucked Up Friends is the solo debut from one half of analog-adoring space psychsters Black Moth Super Rainbow, whose critical smash Dandelion Gum was released last year. Tobacco's debut bristles with the same life, but flirts with even more sinister undercurrents and far out textures. I was A 1/5 of Scotch Deep By The Time I got There Sooo... No Pics..But Here's Two Decent Quality Vid's I Found on Youtube. She Sound's Just As Good In Person As On The Album If Not Better, Which Is Crazy. Her Dancer's We're Sick. The Sound Was Crispy. The Crowd Had Good Energy.
Trouble Andrew (Santogold's Fiance) Was Better Live Than On His Record. (Which I Highly Recommend)
